Professional Experience
Where I’ve Worked & What I’ve Built
June 2025 - now : Appinio GmbH
Appinio is a global market research platform that enables companies to gather consumer insights in real time. As Marketing Lead DACH, I’m responsible for growing brand awareness, demand and market share in the German-speaking region.
I focus on positioning Appinio as the go-to solution for fast, reliable consumer insights – and on building a modern, data-driven marketing function that supports sales, product and customer success. My role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across content, campaigns, partnerships and thought leadership.

October 2024 - March 2025: Ordio GmbH
Ordio is an early-stage HR tech startup focused on software for deskless workers. As Head of Marketing, I built the marketing foundation from the ground up – covering brand, demand generation, product marketing, and partnerships. I conducted customer research, launched the company’s first content campaigns, introduced lead management processes, and redesigned digital channels.
While I enjoyed the fast-paced environment, I realized that my strengths in strategic leadership and cross-functional marketing would bring more value in a more mature growth phase.
April 2021 - September 2024: Spryker GmbH
Spryker is a leading enterprise commerce platform for sophisticated transactional business models. During my time at Spryker, I built and led the global revenue marketing team, focusing on demand generation, customer marketing, and field marketing.
Later, as Chief of Staff to the CMO, I drove strategic initiatives across all marketing functions, including budget ownership, cross-functional alignment, and international campaign planning. I helped transition marketing from a channel-driven structure to a lifecycle-focused growth engine – closely integrated with sales and product.
September 2014 - March 2021: Trusted Shops GmbH
Trusted Shops offers trust solutions and legal services for e-commerce businesses across Europe. As Director of Inbound Marketing, I was responsible for lead generation in multiple markets and introduced inbound methodologies to eleven European countries.
I built a team from scratch, scaled content and performance marketing efforts, and established marketing as a key contributor to revenue. My work helped shift the company's marketing focus from ad hoc campaigns to a structured, measurable demand generation engine.
March 2011 - August 2014: Dixeno GmbH
Dixeno is a German e-commerce agency offering end-to-end solutions for small and mid-sized online retailers – from shop development to digital marketing. As Online Marketing Manager, I worked across a broad range of client projects and gained hands-on experience with key digital channels such as SEO, SEA, email marketing, and analytics.
This role laid the foundation for my performance marketing skillset and gave me deep insights into the operational side of e-commerce and digital strategy execution.
Education & Academic Background
Where I’ve Studied & What I’ve Learned
October 2008 - October 2010: M. A. International Business Studies
In my master’s studies, I deepened my expertise in strategic marketing with a strong focus on B2B environments, decision-making processes in complex buyer journeys, and international market entry strategies.
Additionally, I gained insights into business law and regulatory frameworks relevant to global commerce. This academic foundation strengthened my analytical mindset and prepared me for high-impact roles in data-driven, cross-functional marketing teams.
October 2005 - September 2008: B. A. International Business Studies
This internationally oriented degree program combines core areas of business administration with a strong focus on intercultural management and global economic structures. The bilingual format (English and Spanish) enabled me to study in a diverse environment and prepared me for working across borders and cultures.
I specialized early on in marketing and human resources, combining a strong commercial understanding with a people-focused perspective. The program emphasized international collaboration, strategic thinking, and the fundamentals of global business – laying the groundwork for my later focus on scalable, people-centric marketing strategies in tech-driven organizations.
